Today was over in a second. I planned on applying to five businesses but a long interview and getting lost twice slowed me down a little. I still got three applications in, one of which lead to a promising interview. If nothing else, these interviews are good practice.
I met with the GM of East Village Spina Restaurant which is small and makes there own pasta in house. Elmo in Chelsea seems like it would be fun to work in. It's very trendy and has a downstairs lounge the host said gets crazy at night. I need a job so I can actually eat in these places! ha.
While out and about I also got to see Ellis Island from Battery Park, the bull at Wall St., and spent some time exploring Chelsea. The more I see of Manhattan neighborhoods the more I want to live there when Jen comes up. Who knows... anyone know a good broker?
Warmer weather and sun this weekend!
