The weather was the talk today, the first sign of spring? It’s almost the same temperature in NY and FL tonight and in the sun today it was perfect. This morning I got up with plenty of time to have breakfast, get ready for church, figure out how and give time to get there. I did not, however leave time to get lost and end up in Manhattan because the stupid MTA is still working on the 7 train on the weekends. I have no problem asking random people for things so I did and found my way back to LIC and then church. I was only about 20 minutes late, no big. I’m glad I didn’t give up and go home because I liked the church and will go back. Pray I don’t have to work Sunday mornings when I find a job!
I met so many nice people my age. To my right in the pic are Jesse and Janine. Jesse attends the same college I do so it was good to make that connection. I also met a girl whose name is Brooklyn but is from Orlando and worked as the Disney princess Aurora. Everyone was taking pictures because of the 6 plates of random desserts alamode brought out to us and at the time we had no idea why. Sorry the pic is so gloomy, flash was off. The waitress explained that the owner liked our big party and patience and that the table is ours every Sunday if we want it, sweet! El Ay Si (LIC) is the clever name and I endorse it and the charming area.
I got home pretty late this afternoon and hit the gym to burn off some brunch. After touring many nice places I joined Pulse because of the great special, free classes, and close proximity. This pic was taken from the driveway and you can almost see a black awning, that’s it.
I have another Interview tomorrow at Bourbon Street in the city which doesn’t close until like 4am. I’m not looking to work those hours but we’ll see what they’re looking for.
Make sure with all of your sightseeing that you take in the Museum of Natural History. It is one of my favs. your m-i-l
